New member...in search for objective critics of my work!

Hi everyone!

As I m new here I d like to introduce myself with some of my previous work and ask you for your objective comments and constructive criticism.
Be kind !
Please take your time and check this link for samples of a different types of music I produced, recorded and mixed so far ( mostly last year) SAMPLES
Some of the songs are in whole and some maybe 1-2 minutes long.
I d really apriciate your inputs and I m looking forward to know you all a bit better thru time.

Cheers,
I listened to you samples. It seems you have nice mix of clients. I think the best track is "The Tallisman Collection Nowhere to Hide". So I thought this would be one to give feedback on.

Overall, I think it has good possibilities. The drums and bass are well recorded and punch through the recording. To me the snare reverb on the drums is too deep and long for modern styles.

The vocals seems nicely produced but are back in the mix compared to the drums. The drums overpower the vocals. I would focus on the balance between the vocal and drum+bass mix.

The mix probably sounds great with the volume up. It would be good to check this mix at low volume. The vocal needs to mesh with the track better. Other guys here might have more specific recommendations for processing approaches to the drum buss or vocal tracks.

Thank for taking your time to listen to it all. I liked that track also, although not my all time favorite :-).
I had real problems mixing that track cause it was recorded live in the bands rehearsal room that is...let say 5x4 meters.
We tried to separate sound sources best we could, but everything was leaking into everything else. The Bend wanted to do it that way. Anyway, for some reason during the mix I decided to put kick in front of everything. It seemed to groove better and as the band needed demo asap I didn`t really give it a good second chance.
All in all, i totally agree with your comment.
If you have some thoughts about some of the other songs feel free to share it...

Cheers
