The mastering job has already been done and the CD pressed, but the more I listen to this, the more I think the snare ended up too high. Chill - track 1 from my new record "Morning" What do you think? Thanks, Pietro ------------------ Pietro Girardi - music production, composition, arrangement |

The mastering is done. The CDs are pressed. The track sounds great. On to your next project...

I'm with Darren, I can see where you're coming from about the snare but it's seriously not a deal-breaker, the track sounds fantastic!

Yeah the snare is a bit high but if you hadn't mentioned it I wouldn't even notice.

Sounds to me that the hat/crash/ ride were mixed (way) to low and the ME tried to get them to read by bringing up the high end effecting the (already) too loud snare. Who ever mixed it only seemed to care about the bass guitar (sounds great) |

I definitely do not like the snare, it gets annoying...however...the project is done and there is nothing you can do about it. Most listeners will not notice or care. I would have wanted a different, beefier snare for that track sitting lower into the mix.
