I haven't listened to your drums but if you're gonna replace them why don't you just record the midi out from the electronic kit? Then play the midi with something like DFH or BFD.

You could record a stereo audio out from the kit as a ref to tweak the velocity curves in the drum samplers to retain the original feel.

sound replacing is for fixing poorly engineered tracks. spend your money on studio time and a good mix engineer. It will be much less expensive than trying to buy the gear to do it yourself and the result will be much better. If you want to be a producer or engineer be my guest, but if it's artistry you're into don't sidetrack yourself trying to learn how to engineer a record. You can truly become a jack of all trades and master of none this way.

Honestly, most of the time I don't even bother replying to some things I see on this forum but this one could be my next signature! It really doesn't make ANY sense!

You replace.. well you 'augment' poor quality drum tracks, you don't replace good quality drum tracks! The goal is to get the best drum tracks during recording and then augment with samples if needed.
