New Recording: Cat Stevens Tune

Hi everyone,

I am relatively new as a home recording person. I am learning how to record myself on vocals and acoustic guitar. So, if get anything down that is even close to a finished recording I get excited. Anyway, what do you'all think of this recording?

Signal Chain:

Vocals(Peluso 22 47) --> Avalon AD2022 --> E-MU 1212m soundcard
Guitar(Taylor 914) --> same chain

I love everything you record man. Awesome feel and your voice is really good! This is a beautiful song and your version is awesome, (I need another word, getting tired of awesome)

Anyway - good work!

A Cat Stevens song, sure had I to listen to it! thumbsup
As Dim said already, very nice recording, great sounding mix. Also good singing, especially when I compare to how I used to sound when I played his songs in the seventies .

I have only one critisizm, which is that I think you should play it faster and more vehemently. The original is very vivid and expressive.

Rock on!
