Feedback on super poppy track

Okay, got a new version of a pop track that's pretty close.

Looking for an overall review/comments/suggestions regarding the song, mix, or both.

This song is really commercial and cheesy, I'm aware. Catchy is the idea.

What do you think? Anything helps.

Looking for a guitar player and drummer in the Portland area.

Overall pretty cool. The autotune and basic riff seems like a rip of Cher's "I Believe" but the back half of the song doesn't feel that way as much. I'd say it's more dance/retro-club than modern pop. I think there may be certain testosterone dominated nightclubs that would spin this into a minor hit.

I'm not digging the lead monosynth sound but I like the flutey drum thing that's a background throughout parts. Stuff is well balanced though the lead vox is a touch thin.

Ditch the autotune, seriously. If you want a more cold robot feeling then work on your accent and recut the lead vox, it is noticeable. Good sense of melody and production I'd say.

Cool man thanks for the honest feedback. Couple Q's:

When you say "lead monosynth" which one are you talking about? The underwater sounding one? The one that comes in 8 bars into the verse? Or the one is the chorus that goes with the melody?

Gotcha on the auto-tune. I was trying to make it less noticeable on the lead vox by automating the response, but I guess I wasn't fooling. Maybe I'll tone it down on those falsetto backups too.

Haha testosterone dominated nightclubs eh? I was thinking more of an 8th grade girl sleep-over party... I know it's cheese, but I did get it licensed on a CW show...

Thanks man, I'll make some tweaks!
