New Studio Built first test songs....

Hi

I have recently finsihed with the building of a new studio ...which is of course very exciting...8)....

I have been doing some test recordings and its amazing what the new room does for your enthusiasm.

I built all my own bass traps (thanks to the GS forums, and in particular Ethan and Glenn) and the new room is sounding great..and I am learning it quick

here are two mp3's of songs done here ....on my friends server....thanks for the webspace Deano!..8)

both songs are all sung and played on by me, except sax which is my friend.

Drums are Ocean Way DL with me playing an e kit.


I just wanted to share...I am excited by my new place...

Not really digging the drum sounds, but as you stated it's not real drums.

I like the sound you're getting. Nice stuff. I'm trying to finish up my very small mixing/tracking room. What are the dimension of your studio? Is there a thread with any details on your setup?

no thread...

but my dimensions are 3.85m wide X 7.85m long X 2.4m high

it was a reverberant mess before the acoustic treatment...
