Thread Starter | Mix advice? SoundClick artist: Djunfitforwork - Psychedelic -punk -post punk -alternative -noise pop -trippy funk- Beatlesesque Hi all! Am looking for mix advice on the track "Funk Psyched" -I so not intend at this point to put a compressor or limiter on the output -was hoping you might have comments -suggestions on e.q -overall balance and "soundstage" for example if that's cool Admission!-totally loop based track-from Logic 8- Am not in good place mood-wise to graft out proper songs for the time being but can still take criticism. | Man, it's hard to tell. It seems like it's a really low quality stream. Only thing I noticed I'd like to hear is more bottom end in the mix, especially in the kicks. |

The "low res" thing is probably as a result of dialing up a lot of "low mids" -the once usually best-avoided -and not adding any "air" eq -in order to keep the snare and bass drum centre-stage.
