Thread Starter | Michael Jackson cover! http://www.mediafire.com/?novmjw1ozi4 What do you think? A few days after Michael died, I decided I wanted to track and mix 'Human Nature' just for the fun of it, so I get some friends together to jam out. After working on it on and off, I've finally gotten the mix close to where I'd like it! Let me know your thoughts or any things you hear that need improvement. Also, this particular file doesn't fade at the end as I'm too lazy to turn on my computer with audio editing programs on it right now, so I'll switch it out later today or tomorrow. |

Thread Starter | No other replies... Maybe I should edit the original post and claim I'm the greatest engineer better and that no one could ever come up with a better mix than the one I posted... That'll probably bring the criticism in droves.  |

| .ogg  ok well i opened it with vlc and first thing i noticed is that the vocals seem kinda burried under the mix the track sounds very nice overall though thumbsupthumbsupthumbsup |

| Could you make a new version with a louder lead vocal? It's way to soft at the moment. I think it will be a great cover with the lead vocal louder!  |

Thread Starter | Second rough mix... I think everything is pretty ok in this one except, as you'll hear, the snare is too hot... and the delayed 'Why's' still aren't how I want them. Justin Wilson - Human Nature.mp3 Anything else? |
