Pop/Rock mix advice needed

Another collaboration with my friend to be eventually used in an audio portfolio. I tend to dig heavier music, and this is a little poppy for me, but I am trying to mix as best as I can and in the process, represent as many styles as possible.

Any mix opinions? Check it out if you get a chance ... thanks

You've got some nice harmonies going on there! I would like to hear the electric guitar sound a little more up front. I think it would work a little better with the arrangement. Also, you might try panning the backing box a little. Catchy tune!

changes made, thanks. This song is the never-ending mix for me, think it's finally there. Where abouts in Phoenix are you?

Hi,

To my ears, the intro up to the point of bass guitar entrance is really great. After that, the bass and drums add a some kind of low freq mud into the mix, blurring the clarity of the vocals and all the rest. I liked the vocals very much, good presence there. The bass and drums needs some clarity to play nicely with the rest imho; and that's all I can say with my limited knowledge. Have a nice day...
