Hey GS,

My band, Bryan and the Humans, recently finished our self recorded/produced debut album and I would like to offer it to you free of charge throughout August and September 09. FYI we are influenced by 90's alt rock like Pixies Nirvana etc. I'de love to hear what you think so don't be shy.

Enjoy!

Wait no longer

I got around to giving them a download and I really dig your band. I am a HUGE 90's alternative fan, so this album is right up my alley. You've really got that sound down to a T. I like the simple guitar riffs - that really sets the mood and the vocals were well done as well. I dug the tasteful feedback as well. Usually with bands that try this sort of thing, they try to get as punk rockish as possible, but I really got a sense of depth from your music and I really dig the pop vibe thrown in as well. "Panic" is trippy and really beautiful sounding. "Misanthrope" must be a really fun song to play - great rocking vibe on it! "Collector" and "Good" reminds me of something I'd hear off a Veruca Salt record. The verses drenched in chorus definitely remind me of Nirvana, stuff like "Jump" and "Flesh".

All in all, I can really hear the influence. It's far removed from Elvis Dare I say you've been listening to Sonic Youth as well?

Thanks for the music, it sounds great! You just don't hear stuff like this being made these days, it's refreshing!

Sounds good, but not the style I would usually listen to. I can hear the Nirvana influences, I like that because it's nice hint rather than a total rip off. Favorite songs is 'Flesh'. Thanks for letting us download! Great effort guys!

I really dig most of it. Some of heavier parts sound a little flat to me, but I'm definitely a fan.

It would probably be easier if you had a couple of your favorite tracks online for streaming purposes.

And, of course, you aren't fooling anyone. We know you are dead and that therefore you couldn't have put out a new album. "Elvis' Greatest Post-Mortem Hits."

Thank you for the download. A few tenuous timing issues with drums and bass here & there, but overall I really dig it. I can definitely hear the Pixies influence (I love Pixies). Keep up the good work, 'ya hunk-a-hunk-a-burnin'-love. Maybe one day you'll star in some Hawaiian beach flicks.
