Lamb of God style metal mix

Just finished a session with a really good Lamb of God style band.
First session with logic 9. Used flex to get the drums perfect.
Any opinions appreciated.
Thanks
Michael

Nice.
I am assuming the guitar in the R channel was louder than the left due to my hearing loss?

Other than that, it's top shelf!

Sounds pretty good man. Maybe a little more overheads and hats in there? Usually my preference on metal.

Second that, it lacks a little bit of air and sounds a bit muffled in my ear when listened using a vulgaris HiFi setup and headphone. And maybe just a little bit to much over the top around 100–300 Hz (but all this is a question of taste).

Otherwise, great work, powerful, I like it.

Thanks
It may a need a bit more overheads alright.
I have had Focal Twins for a few months now and am still getting used to snare and overhead levels on them. I may have low passed the guitars a bit too low too.
As for the guitars it is 5150 left and mesa triple rec right. The mesa jumps out a bit more on palm mutes but I think it adds to the stereo width of the guitars.
I pushed the low end of the kick at about 150 then squashed it with URS CSP distressor.
I am pretty happy with the low end of the track.
