The lead guitar tone is a little wanting at times.. but i'm really diggin the tune itself.

That deep bass around halfway through is amazing... whoa... i just wish i had a large stero to listen to it through. My HD590s aren't exactly translating the bowl shaking properties

Actually, the bass tone is a little muffled too now that i think about it.

Props for the arangement though. I like it

i would see it as a demo, as to me there is much "factory sound" feeling. depends on the purpose, will you sell it for a movie or art video, etc..
reverbs could have more depth, maybe brighter. you could try a completely different reverb unit, it gives the whole mix a strong character (esp for this type of music)
professional mastering could do quite some improvement.
but no serious problems in balance. no doubt it sounds professional.
arrangement and playing sound good to me!

Thanks Nut, yeah, the guitar is not perfect, but I kind of got used to it as I worked the track.
My bass needs new strings too.

Thansk Neo, it started out being for a documentary about restoring old houses that I am working on, but it took a life and direction of its own, I doubt they will use it.....
Thanks for the suggestions about reverb, I'm just starting out getting to know
voxengo's pristine space and a ton of impulses for it. I think I had it set up wrong on this one. If I need to remix it, I'll try something else.
