Hey guys, I´ve heard a lot of mixes in some posts that sound pretty cool on the Myspace player, but with my mixes, the difference between soundclick and myspace is huge, in myspace the mp3s just loose the crisp high end, totally lofi, why do you think some songs have this and others don´t? Is it myspace or did I use too much limiting perhaps?

Not sure what's going on. I see the Soundclick player embedded on the MS page. Do you think it sounds different from the Soundclick player on the Soundclick page? Or did you change the MySpace page after posting this? "Perfecto" sounds the same in either place - maybe - but after level matching, I think "Beneath My Skin" has a huge feeling of space that is missing from the MySpace player.

I'm on headphones at the moment, but I'd be happy to compare as long as we're not talking about anything below 90hz.

Actually I changed the player and used the embedded soundclick player instead, the difference between the Myspace player and the Soundclick player was inmense, so when I found a way to change it after the post, I just did

BTW what do you mean by space in the Beneath my skin mix? Did you mean the level differences between Perfecto and Beneath my skin or space in the mix in general? Did you compare the mix in soundclick and myspace players?

Yeah...I'm pretty sure myspace reconverts mp3s to their own resolution. My mp3s often sound downgraded when I upload them "to the space."

I think youtube does the same, no?
