Did you do the vox? amazing. sounds like the originals..

Snare needs a little more high end.

No no haha. The vox came from the mogg file. A while back these files called moggs came out that were a collection of stems to be used by the game rock band. I took the vocals, and the into/outro sample, along with the keyboardy electronic stuff and then redid everything else. I still had to eq/mix everything, but no the vocals and the electronic samples/intro/outro are the originals.

I only re-recorded the guitars, bass, drums, and piano. Then mixed it all together.

Thanks for the reply!

The vocals are solid! The cymbals paned hard kinda threw me off. that is until the other side came in with cymbals to balance it out.

The mix kind of leans to the right to much for to long but that's a matter of taste.

I like the portion right after the first chorus. Guitar sounds great!

The vocals are from the original track so they are definately solid! I didn't do the vocals in this though. Just the music around them. I only EQ'd/compressed and automated the vocals so whoever actually tracked that CD gets credit for tracking those.

BTW I made another mix with a little less compression on the drum buss and panned the cymbals to be less distracting (hopefully). BTW I really appreciate the response. Seems for every 20 views you get 1 response.

cool track! bass drum sounds the best to me. what were your chains used to record the different instruments? snare is a little dull, but that intro sounds awesome! The cymbals are kinda weird. Nice job!
