Your vox track is distorting quite a bit. Find a better reverb for your vox, or maybe even better, try your vox dry for this song.

So you think the vox is distorted because of the reverb? Or the sound itself? What type of setting would you think will fit?

Any suggestion on good/cheap vst reverb?

Thanks for the comment.

I think you could use bit of deessing work on ur vox....there are some sharp sibilants in there

I would personally also bump up the high-mid frequencies on your gtr, get a brighter sound from ur axe.

You're a little off key on the singing in places, for instance the first phrase (heaven is a place...), and others ("it's pride") ("there's one for me") etc.

G'luck!

Wow, de-essing for sure...the ssss's are harsh. IMO, the acoustic needs to come up in volume. Also try putting reverb over everything equally to try and get it sounding as if you are doing it all in the same room, it might tie the vocal to the guitar better which the track could use also.

Thanks all for suggestions. How about this?

I applied same verb to both tracks, bring up the acoustic, and lowered the 12.5K on the EQ that I did before (sss?).
