I am consistently humbled by your talent Walter. You have what a few folks would give up everything for: generous amounts of talent paired with an original and creative sense of improv.

That said, I really wish to hear you branch out from the 'blues' form and style - although I can understand it's merit, esp. for your 'spontobeat' style, I find that form tired, and pretty much void of originality - esp. the kind of originality you carry and could eventually branch out into...

Hi PlugHead: Thanks for your response. I am pretty happy in my simple little groove. I am on my 4th year of doing the 1 man band thing. I miss having a real band on some levels, but the freedom of hassles and freedom to keep whateve time I want is a strong carrot. Like you said, the simple beat allows me to drift into spontaneous stuff real easy. It would take some special musicians to get me away from what I currently do and as of today, there are none here, but I am always open to new ideas. Walter
