Alt Rock Mix

Hi.
I think this is a good mix, but I need some other point of view. I also would be glad to know your opinion about my foreign accent and the lyrics.
Thank you in advance.

Way over compressed/limited. The brickwall kills the song in the chorus, it gets smashed to bits. Once you fix that, you will hear what else needs to be done.

You may be right, but I would like to listen to a second opinion before change anything, because that was the brickwall sound I wanted to achieve.
Thank you for your time.

Kind of cool. I don't think it's too compressed/limited for this genre. Has an old school Radiohead vibe. Maybe sing those harmonies in the chorus again, and a bit softer. There's a lot of pitch movement there.

Yes, I think it has a pre-OkComputerish feeling. I have the same sensation with the harmonies, but it's a very strange effect, because when I play them without the rest of the tracks (only main vocals and chorus), they sound great and in the perfect pitch, but when they sound into the song they seem to have a weird pitch movement... There may be a strange effect with the rest of the melodies of the guitars or bass... could it be possible? Thank you for your review. It helped me a lot to confirm I problem I had noticed, but I thought It was a personal perception. I'll try to fix it changing the harmonies.
By the way, I also would like to know what you think about my accent/lyrics.
Thank you!

You're accent is cool. It makes the feel of the song.

Drums need more room imho. Tom panning is a bit extreme maybe?
I like the pitchy background vocs ... would keep that. ;-)

the brickwall in the chorus is interesting. I don't think I'd go that extreme. I get the idea - and I think you have achieved an interesting sound - but I think there may be a more musical way to express it.

I think it sounds like a mistake. there has to be a way to get that "feel" without going over the top. anyway - what do I know... this could be the next big sound... crushed chorus'

the wide panned toms don't bother me. I actually like them. the stacked vox are cool too.

Thank you. I could try to emulate a native accent, but I think this is more sincere.

You may be right. I wanted a heavy sound in the chorus, but it went out of hand a bit.
Thank you!

I made a big effort to keep the drums clear along the track. What do you mean with more room? The extreme tom panning is caused by a vintage drum set I used. I liked its sound and I kept the original panning.
Thank you!

You all are right, but I've made over 100 songs and I always try to add some touch of originality in every tune. No risk no gain. In this particular case, I went too far with the chorus.
Thanks a lot for your opinion and time!
