Production is fine all around... I think the band is complete suck, though.

please elaborate.

i wasnt diggin the addition of the keys. it seemd to crowd the mix with noise. the passages w/o keys are clearer to me.

I just think the track is boring and the band unexciting. Christian or not, this sounds like lazy metal songwriting to me. You know the kind... the band has fun playing it, but it doesn't do anything for the listener. Like a simplistic, boring version of Tool with way worse vocals. And I think replacing the drummer with Lars Ulrich would be a step up for this band.

Keys aren't anywhere close to the worst thing about the band.

Also, the breakdown riff is just complete failure and laughably generic. Then with that stupid rant at the end of it... completely cliche.

Just my opinion.

Oh and not sure whether I consider this "radio friendly". Who wants to drive down the highway and crank this song up? There are no parts that rock, no good sing along parts... and if I saw them play this song live, I would probably use that time to a) get a beer, b) take a shit, or c) leave.

the funny thing is that during the making of the cd, they made it clear they wanted the "hatebreed" sound.
