Thread Starter | Need some ears I've been trying to reproduce a song on my spare time called Lounge Act by Nirvana. But I cant seem to get the guitar sounding as grainy and distorted as it does in the original Andy Wallace mix. I have the original multitracks. I've tried lowering treble frequencies, raising distortion frequencies, adding reverb, stereo separation, overloading the channel but i can't nail it. Hoping someone can point me in the right direction. Heres the samples, any help would be appreciated. guitar.zip (1.21 MB) The first one is the original guitar track, untouched, the other two are inverted samples of the Andy Wallace mix to bring out the guitar sound. Heres a mix i threw together lounge.mp3 (3.58 MB) |
