Pretty cool. Sounds a bit like there's an awful lot of fast attack comp/lim though.....not sure if this is you or mastering or youtube......

The beat could have done with some hanging bass thing or line to turn it over more, as it seems a little static and the drums don't punch all that much (again, might be partly someone else's lim).......

Get in with that UK underground ting

It was a complicated situation. The producers got involved in the mixing of the beat....I tried to share some knowledge and advice but they wanted it there way. I let them. The chorus again....the vocals...they wanted it THAT way. I would have mixed a lot of things differently...youtube doesn't do it any favous either.

And it doesn't help that they recorded the vocals in a below average studio.

I did what I could.

I'm just pleasantly suprised with the video.

It's definately not a mix i'd say i'm very proud of...and thats a shame as I like the song.

This is why engineering without production influence is a pain in the arse......
