Sounds pretty good. I think the bass is really muddy and kinda bland. If you could pull some high end into it, clean out a bit of low mid, and push it down in the sub range, I think that would help a lot. The drumkit also sounds a bit small. Try pumping it up a bit with some compression. I'd definitely like to hear more kick too.

Vocals sound pretty good. It sounds like it might not be the best mic choice for your voice (weird bright thing at like 10k or something), but you still make it work with some nice eq and processing.

Guitars and everything else sounds nice. The mix is good too. Maybe a bit less vocals.

And if you could automate a bit of dynamics in. After the guitar solo, when the vocals come in, it feels a bit odd. I think if you pushed the whole track up a db when the chorus kicks back in, it might help with that odd transition.

Sorry, there are a lot of criticisms there, but I think it generally sounds nice. I definitely hear the Lanois influence in the music.

Cheers man, I don't mind the critique, quite the opposite - it helps me evolve...I'll check everything you say, believe me! Soooo right about the bass, I hear it now.

Cheers:

One interesting note about the bass by the way: it's actually a guitar that's been pitched down one octave and run through the Ampeg SVX software...

Didn't have a bass at the time.
