With how much I've learned over the past couple of years from this and other more home-recording-oriented sites, this album is very much a product of the advice contained herein.

Let me know what you think!

Just downloaded!

It kicks ass actually, powerful riffs, agressive vocals, really nice melodies...the only thing I´m missing really is maybe some more rhythmic diversity, seems like you´ve stuck to a 6/8 signature most of the time.

But overall, nice work, congratulations!

What guitar/pickups/amps did you use btw?
Sounds a little like 5150 to me, just guessing

Many thanks I agree with the 6/8 being a little much. I'm the primary songwriter, and most of the songs were written when I was on a bit of an Opeth kick. I'm really focusing on diversifying my influences on the next album, while keeping the overall feel/soul of the band intact.

Rhythm guitars were a standard Schecter C-1 Blackjack (believe it or not), and a souped-up Schecter C-1 with really sweet Seymour Duncans. Solo's were a Charvel 750xl w/ a PRS Dragon pickup.

Amps for rhythm were a Framus Dragon and a Marshall JCM2000 DSL. Solos were an amalgamation of different combo amps and such. Cleans were through a 70's Twin.

It was a fun recording process I'm excited to use my new Rivera Knucklehead on the next album!

Somewhere in between, I'd say. It's completely new members since our last release (with the exception of myself), but one of the songs from the Everest EP is on the full-length, and several of the songs were written and performed live as Everest.
