Recorded this song for my sister - she's 5 and loves it, so I did this to help her get to sleep when she's restless. Just want to know your opinions on it. It's only a quick thing and I'm aware it's awful - just don't sue me =P

For your 5 year old sister, great job I'm sure she loves it...big brother points!!! I always liked this tune. I have a 5 year old boy, picture in my avatar with mustache and glasses, and sleep sometimes is tough. I record all my family members reading books and throw them on cd which he absolutely loves. So we have cd's of mom, dad, all grandparents, & aunts reading to him.

For gearslutz...there are some issues. The first thing I noticed is too much reverb for me. The strings are almost always too loud, they cover up the vocals. Also, the original strings had a little bit of an eerie thing about them that helped with un-cheesing the song a little which I always liked. The vocal sounds a little like you aren't excited to be doing it. You could put a little more heart into it. The background vocas may also be a touch loud...maybe.

The original vocal by mike was awesome, you gotta love little MJ.

Issues, issues, always issues =P

Yes, I actually have been tweaking with it since posting and the strings are now quieter as are the BV; I am excited to sing it but the melody reminds me of my uncle who passed away in February, I don't know why but it does, so it makes it a little harder to sing
