My Band's Free Album - Metal / Hardcore / Whatever

My new band just released a 5 song EP for free download today.
I think it's my best work to date in terms of the engineering / mix. Let me know what you think!

hey, thanks a bunch.
ok, let's see...

drums:
Pearl reference kit (maple/mahogony), Pearl bon jovi signature snare (yeah, weird).
kick: d112 > vintech 273
Sn top and bottom: sm57 > api 3124
Toms: cad m17 and sennhiesier md421 into focusrite pre's
OH: AKG c451b > api

some of the snare 'body' sound is coming from a u87 that was out in the mudroom of the studio.

guitars..
Gibson les paul special > bogner ecstacy > mesa 2x12 > sm57 > api
bass was fender jazz, ampeg svt classic head > ampeg 8x10 > sm7 > api. also took a DI and trashed it up for the mix

Vocals: SM7 > Vintech 273 > DBX 160x

let me know if you have any other questions

Nope... well it's just main guitar left and right plus overdubs. most of what you hear is two guitar tracks, or three if there's a lead going on.
