80s Synth Medley - 3 guys, 6 keyboards

Here's a little nostalgia-fest for anyone who remembers the 80s or wishes they were there (like us).

3 guys, 6 keyboards, 15 hits, all played live!

YouTube - 80s Synth Medley (3 guys, 6 keyboards)

Gear used:

Arp Axxe
Roland Juno 6
MicroKorg
Korg Triton Extreme 61
M -audio axiom 61 (controlling Schwa's Olga, Tal Bassline and EXS24)
Yamaha SHS-10

all synths tracked live into Logic 8 through a Presonus Firepod.
Drums sequenced in Logic.

enjoy!

well, we practiced for 12 hours straight and then at one in the morning decided we needed sleep. when we woke up we had an hour at it and got it to that take you see in the link (about take 45).

So although we did enjoy it, we were very tired! hence the lack of smiles

thanks for the comment!

Thanks for the comments everyone! I'm the guy in the blue shirt in the video. My synths are the Juno, the MicroKORG and the ARP.

In total, we used about an hour and a half of tape... which is quite a lot of takes!
