New trax

Hi guys. Please visit Awake*-*Sonicbids EPK and check out the tracks. What do you think of 'Funky Fingers' and 'I am Sure'? They are totally different styles!

peace

Nice tunes !

I'm no pro engineer myself so take that into account with my comments.

Funky fingers : good fun tune that makes you just wanna jam air guitar . One thing that was distracting is the snare drum. Seemed a little loud to me and was eclipsing the guitar rhythm and kick drum. I and sure it's was mixed to help drive the beat home with your snare .But I felt it was getting most of my attention and I was missing out on the other strong elements of the song.

The other song is very different but I liked it as well. You might want to look at the low end because it seem you got elements fighting for room down there.

Again I think the songs got good potential and I enjoyed the listen.

best of luck ,

soudns nice but the snare is too forward and too dry a little of reverb will not kill it. Tone wise sounds nice... Some inconsistencies of the hits in the snare. The bass tone wise sounds ok . But once you push that drum a little down it will come out a lot better.

Snare is distorted.

Eveybody is correct. the snare is distorted. everything is a little too wet and distant. Added top to the whole mix wouldn't be a bad idea.
