BASIC TRACKS.....FEEDBACK PLEASE !!

This is the basic tracks for a new tune my band is working on. It is unmastered and it needs Keyboards and guitar solos yet.....

I chased after my own unique chunk sound with my Diezel mic'd with my Royer R-121 into a Grace 101 mic pre into an Aardvark 24/96 direct pro sound card.

Any thoughts good or bad would be appreciated !!!

Thanks in advance,
Rob

I definately liked your "chunk" sound on the guitars. Thought the drums could have been a little more banging and in your face to fill out the sound a bit more. Especially the cymbals and high freqs. Nice work on the track, sounds good.

Seems good except Im gonna agree with travl. The drums just don't quite cut through enough and dont seem to have as much energy as the guitar tracks. The guitars sound good. Sounds good as far as composition and everything else.

the drums are from the Roland Fantom and they are off of the drum card called dynamic drums. Since posting the mp3 I have worked a little bit more on lightly compressing and adding a little C4 multiband to thicken some areas up and now the stereo drum track rocks!

I was mainly wanting you all to focus on the guitar tracks anyway...

Keep the ideas/thoughts coming! Many Thanks
