Thread Starter |  comments on some new productions Hello, quite new to the forum but i've learnt alot which has helped me with producing some tracks. We're not planning on releasing them but would really appreciate comments on all areas - arrangement, mixing, mastering etc... I've listened to them so much... it would be great to get some other ears on them  "fat rats" - A hip hop track with live bass and guitar, vocals from Morcheeba "blue chair" A drum & bass track with live guitar, vocals from public enemy and Morcheeba "140mph in the fog" Another DnB with lots of live guitar, bass and a wailing solo at the end :D "House" A house track, not finished yet... | "fat rats" - really like it,would like to hear the drums much more in front they feel really far away... for all the rest-less my style but nice productions,in the D&B i allso miss the drums more in front... sucsses |

Thread Starter | Thanks for the feedback Because I write the drums I'm always cautious of getting too self-indulgent and mixing them too loud. . . I'll try some adjustments & see how it works out. Thanks for the comments :D |
