This guy has serious talent!

This guy is sort of a singer songwriter (just listen before you roll your eyes and close the page). He's got lots of talent as both a singer and songwriter, and he's got boatloads of great material. Disregard the out of tune whistling on this tune, I did in hastily at the end of the session and it needs to be replaced. This whole thing was done in 3 hours, all parts played by the singer (except the whistling). Everything except vocals are through a pair of Groove Tubes GT44s, and the vocals are through an RE16. Everything is through an API 3124+. Let me know what you think.

dude, 20 minutes ago I posted something on the "why big studios where closing" thread that said that slutz should post stuff that they recorded that should get major label attention. And then you surprise me with this. holy shit dude, this is byyyyyyy faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrr the best music I heard in a long time. the part he changes into "as one, i will follow you" is a melodic genious part, i wish i had that melodic chip in my songwriting brain. awesome. very beatly yet not beatle. wow, thanks for sharing this.

He has more than 30 great tunes, and he's only 21. I can honestly say that everything I've heard of his is atleast this good. All of it is brilliant melodically, and he has a real gift for lyric writing too. I'll post some more stuff as it's finished.

Awesome...I don't think a major would pick this up though...maybe doing good for an indie beofre could attract the big boys...

I hate what an mp3 does to audio! I would imagine that this songs sounds so much better...there...if you know what I mean. Very well written song. The guy definitely has talent writing strong melodys and has got a unique voice to pull it off. Don't let him attempt to go the 'signed' route...yet. He would be so much better off to go indie - he'd probably make more money! Record deals are not all what they are cracked up to be as you probably know. Would like to hear something that has a little bigger production on it.

PS - fix the whistling...whew! (Auto Tune!)
