Lots of things are bugging me in it..(little sh*t)...and was wondering if you all had any comments or suggestions..

Everything is appreciated..and respected.

i think a boost at about 4k would help the vocals maybe a bit at 8 also and a cut at somewhere around 250 to 500 a very small amount would go a lone way like a db at the most. everyone hears things different this is what i think i here it is a guess i would need to set behind a good eq but try it and see.
i like it, thanks for the post

Is this mixed outside the box?

I like the song. The vocals should be rubbed/clued in to the music, I think you know what I mean.

The low mid, bottom is muddy and the drums need to come to front, I think… I also think you could give this a little more work.

Also try to get some separation/air in the mix.

Thanks for sharing.

The "bite" frequency on everything is awesome. This will definately cut through and get loud in mastering. That is of course, if it is headed in that direction. The guitar sounds are really piercing as well as the cymbals. In a good way of course. A good example of how a rock mix should cut through. At first in low volume, it sounds thin. But like I said, in mastering, this song can definately get thickened up. I love the tone on a lot of the instruments in the arrangment. Shimmer on the cymbals etc.

Good job!

Hey all..thanks for the posts..
My replies..

powercord-I think ur getting rock mixed up with punk/emo )) ...Punk and Emo use the same tonality overall...I personally like how his voice fits on top of the music...Not too thick...not to "nasaly"...and good intonation within notes(I actually think i used the wrong vocal playlist for main line..ooops)...

pan60- agreed that the vocals arn't right yet...will test this tomorrow.

dim light-actually the mix was done all ITB..used a lot of waves plugs, some serato stuff, and focusrite. As for the drums..havn't done any limiting or compressed submixes...I think this will bring them up front once I do.

JohnMcD- I love putting that "shimmer" on the things that matter...I usually overdo it :P thanks for the nice comments.

Thanks to all of you who commented on the song..it really helps get a new perspective on things sometimes.

my first comment
is the main gituar sound is a bix boxy / Cabnety, Id like more hi mids and hi's

In the into where you hear the 2 diferent sounds alternatley, the first one sounds great, but I dont like the second one, and that seems to be the one featured the most in the song

Drums sound fine. couls be be a bit more slammin in the compressers.

Lead vocal could be up a bit and brighter. and some cool delays.

the single note hi gituar in the chorus should be bigger stereo wise, spread em. will make the chorus bigger
