Thanks for the reply ! What would you do to the bass ? I just feel that if I put on even more bass that it would totaly get lost. Just a big dark cloud hanging over the other instruments... Hmm, the snare. the snare... Yeah I don´t really like it either.. Have to see what I can do with it.. Anyway, thanks ! |

You can always replace the toms .The room sound of the drums is nice. The open hihat is sometimes too loud. Bass is weak, indeed. Try some reamping, ampfarming .. And there are 2 drum fills wich have a bad timing - try edit them more. Guitars = ok. |

first off. Thanks for your reply.. Yes. I am working on those Toms. Don´t want to replace them. But I really would want to make them more "fitting the drum set" if you know what I mean.. How do I do if I want to reamp the bass ?? I have never done anything like that so some tipps or tricks would be great. By "ampfarming" you mean send the bass to Ampfarm plug in and "put on" a new sound ?? If you want to it would be really nice if you could go to http://www.averyrock.com/mcd.html there are some more songs from the same session, maybe you could comment on those as well ? THANKS |

Yea - try some Ampfarm on it - or, if you have acces to such - UAD Preflex . I do this with DI bass and it helps, even if those simulators are ment for guitars - U can tweak it to fit right. Reamping - well, you will really need a good bass amp. Lots of info on the internet 'bout this - there's even a device to do this properly - A Design ..."can't remember". The ones that do the ATTY thing and the preamps. |

hey, im new here!!! anyway....I dunno, Im thinkin instead of a compression on the drums, maybe a low pass filter.... it will control some of the sibilance... and yes as everyone else...boost the bass a bit... but its definitely a great start!!!
