Hmm yeah thats the one thing i get confused about, should rap vocals be more "on top" of the beat, rather than mixed in with the instruments?

I know Rock music tends to blend it more within in the whole band...

Im not sure if i should be doing that with hip hop..

not too shabby by far.

the chorus lyrics can be a bit lower indeed, I like the stereoness of them, gives a nice effect, especially on headphones. check to see whether it works en mono too. you don't want half of the chorus to cancel out when it's on radio or tv me thinks.

lowering them flutes a few db will help focussing the attention more on the lyrics and beat.

the flutes don't bug me in the intro but start to get in the way as soon as the vocal starts. lift the level of the first verse a bit too.... the first line is the most important cos it sets the vibe for the rest of the track.

it might be my earplugs but as I hear it now I'd try to get a wee bit of more definition out of the kick.

otherwise you're peachy IMO.
