I like it a lot man..if I were to be really really picky, I would say the low end in the main voice at the beginning of the song is kind of iffy... but I mean it doesnt sound bad at all! The chorus comes together really well, very tight sounding. What all did the mastering engineer do? did he tell you? Sounds great, good job! thumbsup |

Thanks for the props buddy! The Guy who mastered it was Matthew Gray, He has a mastering suite in Brisbane, Australia (matthewgraymastering.com) I think he ran it through his studer 1/4" or his Ampex 1/2" , maybe a bit more compression (I usually compress the mix bus as well) and I'm sure his sontec eq came into play at some point. Then I guess a limiter? hmm I can see what you mean about the low end in the vox after another quick listen, hopefull kids with their mp3 versions playing on their ipods wont notice |

wow, this must be the best mix I've done to date. I'm so awesome at life.............(these viewpoints are based entirely on the lack of constructive criticism that has been recieved btw.. (thanks tho noize919 ..or this could just be an excuse to get the post bumped back up to the top.. who knows? ,, well I guess batman knows,, that would be a reasonable assumption to make?! yeah either batman or Stephen Hawking would know..deeefffinitely ... well I guess it depends on how well researched they are on the topic... annnyway. A dyslexic man walks into a bra.. peace |
