Metal Mix - Opinions?

Hey

here is my most recent mix, let me kno what you think...

it was recorded in DP4.5 with a MOTU 24I/O all run on a G4 Dual 1.25ghz
desk wise for tracking we used a old soundcraft spirit 24 channel desk

the only outboard gear we used was a TL audio Ivory preamp/compressor for some light compression on some tracks on the way in, the rest of the processing and the mix was done in the box and the drums have been triggered with the overheads and snare mics blended in with the triggered sounds.....

It think it sounds good, but theres definatley alot of room for improvment. The guitars arnt full enough in my opinion and could have done with some thickening up?? But I ran out of juice so couldnt add anymore tracks......
Im really liking the drum sound tho

to record guitars we used
ENGL Fireballs with a MD421 for the guitars on the right and SM58 for the guitar on the left, both the guitars were double tracked.... (i prefer the sound of the 421 on this recording)

any comments on the mix and ideas would be great

thanks
pies

Im not too good a posting suggestions for mixes yet but I'll give it a whirl. I don't think your guitars need thickening, they sound really good. I think you should put a little more bass guitar in there though which will make your guitars sound thicker. Drums sound pretty good but they need to be raised in volume. Same for the vocals. I can barely hear them on my headphones that I'm using. Overall I think it sounds pretty good. Pretty nice mix.
