Sounds dope man - I think the vocals sound a little tired though and burried and confusing - like they are mixed tracked now . I think you guys can do it better. Nice song -

Thanks for the kind words and input.. Can you elaborate a little more on the vox? We were trying to for more of a "not so polished" sound on the rythyms of the vox and just leave it spontaneous.. Like you would hear sitting around a campfire or a bunch of guys in a boxcar.. BTW.. this was mixed on a toft Atb.. Anyone else? Please feel fre to comment.. .. |

Hi I'm drunk so I will write simple... I want the voice to feel exciting and pushed forward - warm and silky! Your version sounds like his singing through a AKG 414 - same mic you tracked the instruments with - it's hard to hear the voice and it's sleepy. I think the vocals should stand out more - and be more driven,... excuse the english... more beer... enjoyed the song - |

| Heyman,I really like the sound of the instruments. But like others have said, I would really, really like to hear some sizzle on the vocal. Open him up just a little bit and it's all good. Or maybe I'm just losing to much hearing now. ![]() Danny |

Ok, I think I got it.. The vocal performance needs some sizzle, not the sound itself.... A little more life in them.. Thanks guys... Anyone else? |
