My experimental duo (BrainSex). Recorded:2 Crown 700's through Fireface 400 preamps.

MySpace.com - BrainSex - DELRAY BEACH, Florida - Other / Indie / Healing & EasyListening - www.myspace.com/brainsexmusic

The first two songs (2nd prelim jams)

These tunes are between 7 and 9 minutes long so I can't upload them on this server.

My friend and I started an experimental duo (BrainSex) and I think this is a pretty nice recording done with two mics.

One mic on the drums over the shoulder and the other mic on a Traynor keyboard amp. I think it's a pretty kick ass recording for what it is, and even if it wasn't just two Crown 700's through Fireface 400 pre's. Both mics panned 70%.

I used a queen sized mattress and an acoustic blanket hanging up a few feet away from the high hat to reduce too many reflections.

The drums are cheap ass PDP drums 22, 16, an 14 snare with a 12" pearl export tom. With a motif xs8 and Nord 2x through a Traynor (something 4).

I WANT TO KNOW WHAT YOU THINK!
