Modern rock with a southern twist?

Alright, so this one is one I just threw together. Some of the lyrics aren't final. It's basically modern rock with a twist of southern rock for taste. I REALLY want this one to sound good, so please throw ALL of your honest, harshest critcism at it!!!

i just keep waitin

to hear a mix i can crap all over. This aint it. The song is awesome. The guitars / vox sound real good. The drums /bass are a bit lacking life. I would bring up the drums/ bass a bit. not sure what your signal chain was like so I would hate to say it's lack of engineering. In summary great song, great vibe just need to get the groove to come to life. I would like more punch to the kick and the snare could have some more body and crack to it. I think if you got that goin then got them to jive with the bass track it would really do the song justice. I am not a pro. more like hobby/semi pro so feel free to tell me to stuff it. Anyway looking forward to hearing a final on this one !

Thanks! I agree about the snare, it needs more crack and body. I'm working on that. I redid the vocals (changed a couple of the lines), now I'm working on fine-tuning the drums to get more power out of them.

Thanks for listening!
