Sounds pretty good to me! How did you record it? Is it for jazz/funk type music? The kick sounds really funky (in a good way)! I don't hear the "small room sound" that you can hear on a lot of the drums that where recorded in home studios. Is the snare a little phasey? To me it lacks sharpness, but I am not sure what type of sound you were going for.

yeah the snare seems to be a little phasy... I think its because I had a dist channel and a normal one - Ilike the kick sound as well but the snare is kind of to thin to me - how do you fatten up your snare sound? It`s not a certain style - I just recorded it when I had some time between two projects... played myself and I`m no drummer at all |

I read on Mike Shipleys threads about using a short delay on the snare and adding some down pitch shifting to it to fatten the snare up. We tried it, and got great results

when the kit isn't in tune...it sounds like crap...kinda like a singer singing off tune...when you tune them you'll see what I mean
