I don't have subs, just Ipod headphones haha, so if anyone has good monitors and can recommend something that'd be awesome, I can't hear the lowend at all, and my car has busted factory speakers so that's no help

tracked straight from the MPC 60 and SP1200, the bass is SE1x through the DI of Aurora Audio GTQ2Mk3 nothing else, no compression or anything

I used the Sonnox plugs on some things, but I am only using the trial version so they're new to me, didn't experiment too much with them

any advice, critiques, techniques, etc. would be appreciated

Advice?

Sell the MPC, and go take some music classes.
This will enable you to create something worth mixing.

The bottom is definitely there. I really dig the bass line. I think it's a nice beat. But what do I know...I actually listen to hip-hop.
