Need Help With Vocal Mix! ( Advice needed.. )

Hey all, i've been working on a mixtape lately with a local crew, and i just wanted to know what you think of my vocal mixes so far... if its good so far, what needs to be done... etc.

Its a short track so its a quick and hopefully painless listen

Its the only track on the page.... ( Wake Up.mp3 )

Thanks in advance

What the fuk you worried about???

The vocals sound DOPE. Crisp, clean, concise. Fierce.

Honestly dawg, I couldn't offer you a grain of critique on the vocals tracking. Maybe e-cue could, but to me they sound mad pro.

So...how did you record them?

Great track yo!

Nice...they sound pretty good.
They could be brought down a db (for some reason I always think the vocals should sit in a mix instead of skimming the top of the water)

What did you track them with? You did a good job....

Hey thanks for the comments!

I tracked them with a Neumann TLM103 through a Focusrite ISA 220 into Pro Tools LE....

I brought the vocals down a bit like you said Djui5 and your right, it does sit in the mix a bit better.. doesnt sound like its "floating on top".

Thanks for the advice! Much appreciated.
