Mix- Critique please!

This is a song I recorded and mixed for my band back in early 2007. Let me know what you think! tear it apart!

I liked the far away reverb return solo at the end, but you lost the vocal behind it. Felt like the song wanted to take off earlier then it did. Nice overall mix. Piano was good, more of it might have glued things together better.

Hmmm... The Vocals arent really in the mix... To Me it seems like you guys tracked and then layed the vocals after the fact with no reference scratch.. Which is how 90 percent of all vocals are layed... However, the eq spectrum needs to find that sweet spot... Right now, the vocals are sung to the music but not really in the mix.

Its a pretty clean mix and over all pretty good balance on almost everything... So for that I give it an A+ effort. The snare and the Kick needs a little bit more work as does the major effects that start happening in the end, it really plays with the ear. In fact I would find a better spectrum for that end reverb, it takes this song in a rather quirky direction that in my own opinion doesnt work...

However, good song, good mix, and best wishes
