Alt country- The Best That You Can

Hey guys, this is a work in progress, kind of an alt country tune. It still has has a ways to go to completion I want to keep it fairly raw but probably will be adding some harmonies, slide electric. (Mellow tune alert)

Drum machine?

The drums -- well, particularly the cymbal work -- are far too rigid... calling in a real player with some groove would go a long way. Its the one thing holding the song back from being a real solid piece of work.

Thanks for your input. I was thinking the same thing, btw that is a live drummer. I know what your saying about the rigidity especially on the ride cymbal. I have a drummer coming in this weekend maybe we can throw it against the wall and see if we can make it happen. Russ Kunkel or Jim Keltner where are you?
