Rocking

You need a better guitar sound. What amps did you use? The guitars should be louder IMO.
The snare sounds quite compressed. I'd change the settings or back off a little with the compression. The kick sounds good. I like the drums with a bit more room sound. But with this style of music I'd have to try that.

Bare in mind I'm listening on computerspeakers.

Keep on rocking Jo

I also think the guitars should be louder, but they didn´t want it that way so that is their call...

And with the guitar sound. Hmmm, yeah i don´t think it´s that powerful as one would expect with music like this. I used a Orange 120 Ove3rdrive and a Marshall MK II. Not really the metal amps, but that was all I had...

The problem with the snare ist that there is way too much High hat on there so I (i bet it´s possible but I don´t know how) can´t do anything with it, any coments on how to do it better ?

I´ll try to give the drums more room !

Thanks for your coments !!

keep em coming!!

did you compress the snare?
if so - reduce the compression.

but I think the tuning of the snare isn't on top of the game. One thing you could do: augment the snare with a sample.

for the guitars: I got a Marshall JMP1 (git pre amp). You can get any rock sound you need (as a basic set up). It's always good to hae one lying around in the studio.
