Thumbs up Paranoid Android (acoustic)

I couldn't get the upload feature to work for some reason, so here's the link:

Paranoid Android.mp3

This was recorded live last week at a little pizza restaurant I've had a standing gig at for the past 14 years.

This was literally the last song of the night, at the end of a three-hour set. I had nearly cancelled the gig because I've been getting over a cold. So those are my two excuses if you don't like it.

I'm playing acoustic and singing lead, my friend Jeff is playing bass and singing backing.

I'm a big Radiohead fan, and if you are, too, you know this song is a bit daunting. I hope you enjoy our little acoustic arrangement and rendition.

Comments are welcome, but only if you like it!

-Mike

Thanks for listening, James.

I dunno about filming it--I've got a great face for radio, as they say....

when ever I listen to a radiohead cover I don't expect much you wait for the vocals to come in and ruin it because no one can sound like thom yorke. But your voice is great! and live too, I'm impressed.

P.S have you heard the cover of 'Just' by that guy whose just done a covers album, produced Amy Whinehouse? huge in the UK but i can't remember his name, anyway if you haven't check it out because that too is a vocal delivery to be proud of.

Thanks for the comments, guys! I was hoping someone out there would appreciate it.

With over 50 views of this thread and only a few comments, I'm wondering if those who liked it were in the minority. Oh well.

I'm not familiar with that album. If you find the specifics, please send them along. I'd enjoy an album of good Radiohead covers, if that's what it is. Or is it covers of several artists?

YouTube - Mark Ronson: Just (feat. Alex Greenwald)

this was done for an album of radiohead covers, he has also done covers album of loads of artists

www.myspace.com/markronson

He did have all the tracks up but it must have been a pre release thing, 'Stop Me' a smiths cover got to number 1 last week I think or it was between him and beyonce/shakira so if he didn't he should have!
