Thread Starter | Vintagey Soft Rock w/ Drum Samples
Here is another audio example of gorgeous sounding snare 4 in its Z2 form in a beautiful little soft rock mix. www.stevenslatedrums.com/demo/vintage.mp3 There is no extra ambience added to the snare, thats all on the sample. All drums were replaced 100% and have no additional tweaking or eq. The kick is KICK6 which is a round felty thuddy kick with a nice upper mid punch, the toms are maple, (both of them are Z1s) and again the snare is Snare4 Z2. To my ears this has a very vintagey vibe with some modern smack, a cool sound. Let me know what you guys think. Hopefully some of the guys who were under the impression that the disc was only for more aggressive rock will dig this one.
