Concrète is a collaborative, online community dedicated to sound recording and processing. You can find in the musical language the conceptions of “resonant landscape”, ”object trouvè” and “concrete music” for the first time during the fifties, and then they underwent a whirling acceleration in sperimentation thanks to the opportunity of using equipment for magnetic recording. The consequence is that a music based just only on the use of technologies has the entity of this equipment as greater limit. Concrète uses the web as mean of creative cooperation between the users, contribuing to the compositive research of concrete sounds through modern technological tools. The database allows you to take in and share your sonorous material, allowing also the interaction between individuals to compose new musical works. http://www.concretemusicproject.org/ |
