| Willing to master Christmas CD for charity? hello good folks. i'm looking for anyone who might be willing to donate their wonderful mastering services for a charity christmas CD project featuring some fairly well-known indie blues artists. all proceeds are going towards helping displaced musicians in katrina-devastated new orleans. a european label was originally going to pick up the tab (mastering, pressing & packaging) to put this out, but in a scrooge-worthy move, they backed out, deciding that they "aren't really interested in christmas." this leaves me in a terrible bind. everyone involved in the project from musicians, engineers & studios to graphic artists have already donated considerable amounts of their time to this project and it would be a shame if it didn't see the light of day for this christmas. so... any mastering engineers with a generous holiday heart? if you are at all interested and would like to know more about the artists, the charity, etc., please feel free to email me at: vdking at aol dot com (parsed to prevent autospam) thank you in advance, d. gauss |
