Which mastering room-online room for ala Foo Fighters music ?

I have this band with a pretty good 10songs album.
Foo Fighters style.

Where would send the mixes for mastering with a 1000euros budget ?

Thanx

Tom

There are plenty of options within your budget, It just really depends on whether you are looking for a name or not, and the quality of your mixes.

If you look at the tier of music just below say the foo fighters, and find your favorite records, you will find many engineers within your budget. But keep in mind that mastering is really contingent on the recording and mixing, so make sure you are happy with the mixes.

I would recommend touching base with a few engineers and go with the person that is on the same page as you musically and who you are comfortable with.

Heads up on Stut's message.
If a Mastering Engineer knows what you are looking for then try them out, I would suggest asking for master samples.

Difficult to go wrong with Brian Gardner, particularly if his rates are affordable. I assumed he would be at the top of the price range with all the Hip Hop bands he also masters!

Reasonnable doesnt mean cheap. Its still the most expensive price i get so far.
But as stated before , its the price to add a famous name even if i dont really care...but i feel more confident to give my mixes to BG , and that i care !
He agreed to make a mastering sample like every other mastering room.
My ears will make the decison on a final blind test.
