Mastering recommendation

I mastered my last CD at Abbey Road Online Mastering with Adam Nunn and was very satisfied with the result. But at 90 pounds per song it is a bit on the pricey slide. Can anyone recommend someone who might be able to achieve a similar result in the 50 to 100 USD range? I know you can't compare apples to oranges, but what I liked about Abbey Road is they made it sound very good without coloring the sound or drastically changing the mix. Probably part of it is the old tube gear they use. Thanks.

Hello Leon

There is no doubt that many mastering engineers can do a perfectly good job for you and some will be in the price range you describe. Your best bet is to try and obtain one or two mastered samples and then decide.

However, if you like the way Adam Nunn works, then you will need to use him.

Best regards

Great response

Thanks for the great response. I have at least a dozen recommendations or offers, so I will sort through these and see if I can find someone I want to work with.

After careful consideration, I have decided to use John Moran Mastering for my mastering. It was a difficult decision as I received 13 samples all of which sounded really good. If you are interested in hearing the three samples I choose as "finalists," you can download them and the original mix at-
