Looking for very 'analogue' online mastering

Hi,

I am a London-based electronica producer who will shortly need my album mastered. It is quite eclectic, bass-heavy, melody driven synth music with a hiphop/electro influence on the drum programming and vocals. I have been working on it for three years and have finally made serious headway this summer which is a big relief! It has been composed on analogue equipment - various VCO synths and outboard effects etc, but recorded into a DAW and mixed ITB (with external sends). I know it's pure cliche but I'm really going for the old round analogue warmth with this album and as I don't have the equipment to mix analogue I'd love to have a really great analogue chain for the mastering chain, bouncing down to tape and so on. My mixing environment isnt acoustically that brilliant either so Id appreciate an option for mix evaluation and feedback prior to the mastering process.

I have a bit to spend in order to get the results I want but this is a self-financed affair so I can't go super big budget.

Just looking here for some leads really - preferably someone reasonably priced who focuses on bassy, beat driven yet melodic electronic music who has a lovely big old tape machine or can make it sound like they have

Cheers@

'Looking for very 'analogue' online mastering'
analogue sound is a kind of cliche imho,
I could master a song purely in daw, aiming at having 'analog' feel
and have it sound more analog then mastering purely in analog tools - and aim in more modern sound - have it sound 'less analog' then real analog
seriously, it's up to engineer and skills
I am not claiming by any means analog sounds worst or better - just different, but knowledge&experience allows you to get out of your tools what you really want..

saying this I know there's no plugin for CUlture VUulture,
either vari-mu compressor
although I would be able to mimics very close sound/behavior those above
with plugins only
it will take much more time though

I dunno if it will come under your budget but I'd reckon John Dent at Loud Mastering would be an excellent fit for what you describe.
Racks of amazing gear + 'lovely big old tape '

He did the mastering for Harmonic 313 album, which is a great example of bass heavy electronica with a hip-hop influence. Sounds really really fat and beautiful.

Check out pobaudio.com, I'm sure Paul would be able to deliver the results you're after & he's based in Salford so you might even be able to sit in with him

PS: If you wonder about this super sweet modded Chilton console, that´s now living in my room here
Rob has since moved on to custom build summing gear.
